DIVYESH PATEL - CHAIR 
2011 was a great year for the Twin Cities Chapter of the SCC thanks to the work of the 2011 board. I learned a lot from the veteran officers last year and made some great friends which is what makes our Chapter thrive. My beginnings in the Sciences started in the U.K. where I grew up and received my degree in Biomedical Science/ Biochemistry after which I moved to the U.S. and continued graduate work in the same discipline. I have been with Aveda Corporation for seven years and have been lucky enough to gain experience in the personal care industry at various companies in New Jersey. I have been an active SCC member for twelve years starting in the New York Chapter. When I am picked last for teams I like to play volleyball, golf and soccer but my preferred game is tennis, although it changes to racquetball from November to May in Minnesota. MAGGIE GROSSER - CHAIR-ELECT 
I am very excited to be apart of the Twin Cities SCC board. We have such a wonderful chapter here and I know 2012 will be another great year! I received my Bachelor of Science from the University of Minnesota. After graduating, I spent a few years in the lab formulating skincare products. I made the transition into sales in 2010 and currently work for Glenn Corporation. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, yoga, water sports, and spending time with family and friends. Maggie Grosser GABRIELLE DAMJANOVIC -
SECRETARY This is my first time joining the SCC Board since my membership in 1998.
I received my BS in Microbiology from the University of Minnesota. My current role, Midwest Account Manager at Active Concepts LLC, allows me the opportunity to do what I love - travel and meet new people. I started my career on the bench formulating at Tiro Industries and have since worked at various personal companies developing skin care, hair care and home care projects. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family and friends. Contact Information:
Gabrielle Damjanovic PHILLIP MITTENESS - TREASURER 
I've really enjoyed the past 2 years on the board as Chair-Elect and Chair, and look forward to my new duties as Treasurer. Our chapter had a very good 2011 and I'm sure 2012 will be even bigger and better. I've been a member of the SCC for almost seven years. I received my degree in Biology from Augsburg College. For nine years I have worked for Univar, with the past seven specifically in Personal Care as our Technical Development Manager for the middle third of the US. With my travels I try to attend meetings/events of many local SCC chapters like Midwest, St. Louis, and Southwest (Dallas). When I'm not traveling, I enjoy cooking, backpacking, boating and X-country skiing.
