OLIVIA CAVALIERI, MS, MBM - CHAIR-ELECT

Olivia Cavalieri is a Formulation Scientist at The Estée Lauder Companies on the Hair Care Formulation team, creating natural, high‑performance products for almost 4 years for the Aveda brand.

Her career has centered on natural personal care and cosmetic formulation. Previously, she was a Formulator at Bell International Labs (Eagan, MN) and interned in Univar Personal Care EMEA’s Technical Applications Lab in Brussels, Belgium. She holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from Virginia Tech and completed ISIPCA’s EFCM dual-degree program with UVSQ and the University of Padua, earning an M.S. in Cosmetics & Fragrance and an industry‑focused Master of Business & Management. Thanks to a French minor, her studies abroad, and her husband Mathieu, Olivia is fluent in French.

An active member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists, she has served as Webmaster of the Twin Cities SCC since early 2024 and was the Co‑Chair of the Planning Committee for the 2025 Holistic Symposium.
A Virginia native, Olivia has adapted quite well to life in Minnesota and even enjoys the winters. In the warmer months, she loves motorcycling with her husband Mathieu around the Twin Cities and surrounding countryside. She speaks French fluently and enjoys embroidery and reading, a hobby she recently reignited and now averages ~100 books per year. Often with her cat, Ahsoka, cuddling close by.

JUSTIN STEINKE - TREASURER
I joined the SCC in 2011 as a chapter member and shortly thereafter was elected Secretary for the TCCSCC Board. In successive years, I was elected Chair-elect, serving as the Chair the following year and finally settling in as Treasurer, having remained the Treasurer to date and currently serving my 12th year on the board of the TCCSCC.
In my spare time, I work for Odele Beauty as the Chief Technical and R&D Officer and am based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Prior to joining Odele, I was one of 3 founders of Evergreen Innovations, a contract manufacturer based in Minneapolis, MN, responsible for building all the technical aspects of the firm. I gained much of my experience prior to Evergreen Innovations working with The JR Watkins Company, Apex International, Pace Analytical Life Sciences and earned a BA in Chemistry from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
What drives me daily is supporting my wife, two daughters and son, paying for all those expensive sports my kids love to participate in and feeding their bottomless pits also known as their stomachs.

REBECCA BLAHOSKY - SECRETARY

I’m thrilled to join the Twin Cities SCC board as Secretary! With over 25 years in the personal care and nutraceutical industries, my career began on the brand side with Z. Bigatti, Dermadoctor.com, and Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare before I discovered my true passion on the supply side—working with Botanic Innovations and other raw material suppliers. It’s incredibly rewarding to collaborate with cosmetic chemists every day and champion innovative, plant-based ingredients and specialty raw materials.

As a member of the Twin Cities Chapter for more than a decade, I’ve benefited greatly from the dedication of SCC colleagues and am excited to give back. I value collaboration and look forward to supporting our members while creating meaningful opportunities to learn and share knowledge.

Currently, I serve as Global Vice President of Sales and a Board Member at Botanic Innovations, where I work closely with customers to deliver unique cold-pressed botanical oils and defatted seed fibers for personal care and wellness applications.

Outside of work, I’m a proud mom to CeCe (age 8), two cats—Roscoe and Miley—and Maverick, our dog. My husband, Chad, and I are also renovating a historic home in Pepin, WI, which we plan to open as an Airbnb in early 2026.
